I was privileged to preach at Redeemer Anglican Church in Lethbridge last Sunday. I was there representing Packer College. This is a wonderful congregation of about 300 people, with many young families. I am grateful that Fr Julian is with us and able to give leadership to the parish in my absence. What a gift!
I have let Bishop Dan and the Packer College Board of Governors know that this next year is the time to start looking for a new principal. Stepping aside has been on my mind for a few months, but it has become more apparent to me that now is the time to begin conversations about my replacement.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the last three years working with the Packer team. I have gotten to know many people with whom I would never have connected if I had not been in this role. I am constantly amazed at the people in our diocese who possess quality professionalism and a warm-hearted love of God.
This Sunday I will continue our series on biblical justice. Join us as we dive into the biblical vision of universal equality, where all people—regardless of their background—are seen and treated as equally valuable in God's eyes. Discover how justice, as God defines it, demands equal respect, dignity, and love for every person.
