Weekly Update
First Sunday after Epiphany

Dear friends,

The Sundays after Epiphany highlight the revelation of Christ's divinity and mission, as seen in events such as His baptism and the miracles that manifest His glory. These weeks invite us to think about Jesus as the Light of the world and how we can participate with Him in His great mission to the world.

To help us, we'll begin a three-part sermon series on how we can honour God in key areas of our lives. This Sunday, in a message titled "Time Well Spent: Glorifying God with Your Time," I would like us to consider stewarding our time for both personal joy and spiritual growth, and how we might avoid some of the pitfalls of being overwhelmed by life’s demands.

I confess that I am not the strongest candidate in the room to preach this message, so I'll be preaching to myself as much as to anyone.
