ABOUT
We are a community of believers in Jesus Christ; one part of His universal Church. We are a family of congregations known as the Anglican Church in North America.
Our liturgical and apostolic roots are in the Church of England, but we trace our family line (or, "Apostolic succession") back to Christ’s Apostles through this church.
Our congregations, or parishes, are organized into dioceses, each of which is overseen by a senior pastor or bishop. Each congregation is cared for by ordained priests and deacons.
Anglicans seek to be biblically faithful while retaining the ancient traditions of the Faith. Anglicans hold the historic Faith of the ancient Church: built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the chief cornerstone, upheld in the Scriptures, preserved in the Creeds, defined by the Councils of the undivided Church, and liturgically expressed in praise to God through The Book of Common Prayer.
HISTORICAL
We are part of the Great Tradition - the one, holy, catholic and apostolic church.
LITURGICAL
Our worship is grounded in the historic liturgy expressed in the Book of Common Prayer.
BIBLICAL
We read and teach the Holy Scriptures as God's living word, through which the Holy Spirit continues to speak today.
SACRAMENTAL
We believe that the physical universe is alive with God's presence that the Almighty mediates his presence and blessings through sacraments like Baptism and the Holy Eucharist.
THOUGHTUL
We want our worship to be passion-filled, but also thoughtful. We there provide space for quiet reflection and contemplation in our services.
RELATIONAL
Although we sometimes fail, we want to be a loving community of people whose hearts are open to all, and who practice generosity and hospitality in our gatherings, our homes, and our neighbourhoods.
